As a public high school teacher I commend you for putting forth your tax reform intiative. I agree that relying on sales taxes is not a reliable or fair way to raise revenue for such important public services as education and health. It is wrong to keep cutting vital public sector services while tax loopholes and a regressive tax system allows banks, corporations, and the wealthy to not pay their fair share. It is time to reverse Eyman’s hamstringing of the legislative process to reform the state tax system. Thank you for your initiative.
